I want the following information under the Right to Information Act IMMEDIATELY:

 

1. Whether the Chief Secretary encourages citizens to personally meet him to give information about corrupt practices of officers working in Karnataka or does he expect such citizens to directly approach the Lokayukta in this regard. A copy of circular or notification or any press release if any made in this regard is requested to be provided

 

2. Whether the Chief Secretary encourages his own officers to personally meet him to give information about corrupt practices of other officers working in Karnataka or does he expect such officers to directly approach the Lokayukta in this regard. A copy of circular or notification if any made in this regard is requested to be provided

 

3. When was the last time any Chief Secretary held a High Level Meeting to discuss Corruption in government. A copy of the proceedings along with action taken on the latest proceedings is requested to be provided.

 

4. Whether the present Chief Secretary has already taken a decision to hold the High Level Meeting to discuss Corruption at senior level. If yes whether he intends to hold a meeting within next 30 days. Whether reports given by IAS officers about corruption would be discussed in the meeting including the one given by Sri M.N.Vijayakumar, IAS (given by him over the last two year period) and whether officers against whom complaints have been made would be excluded from attending the meeting for fair discussion

 

5. Whether there is any circular issued by the Chief Secretary to encourage government Servants irrespective of their official status to report corrupt practices of their seniors without being harassed. A copy of circular or notification if any made in this regard is requested to be provided
